Post Abortion Syndrome

Post Abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS) refers to the lingering emotional and physical pain after an abortion. Similar to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), individuals may experience heightened depression or anxiety around anniversaries of the abortion or the proposed birth date. Unfortunately, medical and mental health professionals may not always recognize the condition, making it challenging for those affected to feel heard or understood.
